YUM!
I'm very picky when it comes to meal replacement/protein/fiber bars. They HAVE to taste good, can't be a jaw-workout, and not packed with fat. Having a higher amount of fiber is also a big plus. Your needs might be different than mine, but that's what I look for.

I was very surprised by these since my love of Kashi products is very hit or miss, especially with their GoLean products. This was just soft enough, just sweet enough and really filled me up. I like this particular flavor enough but I think the chocolate peanut is better. I tend to crave sweets so I'm glad I found something I can munch on instead of the candy in my office.

I've read comments on other sites about these bars, and I'll mention that crystalline fructose is not a big deal. It's just sugar that comes from fruit. Nothing sinister! It falls lower on the glycemic index than sugar from sugar cane, hence the claim of "slow-burning" carbs. If you're concerned with sugar and carbs, read the label carefully and know that the fiber helps offset the glycemic response (ie: sugar high).

Just took one star off for the price. I can find this flavor at my local Whole Foods but I have to order other flavors online and it can get expensive.
Tasty, healty and filling!
I eat one for breakfast everyday. Very tasty, great for a quick breakfast or snack. Healthy (full serving of protein and plenty of fiber) and easy to eat in the car on the way to work.

You can get a better price at Target or Walmart....$4.14 for a box of four = Approximately $1.04 a bar. One drawback to Target and Walmart though is they are frequently out of stock due to being so popular.

I've been eating these every morning for breakfast for the past 8 years and love them! There's enough fiber in them to counter act the higher calorie count. If you do Weight Watcher's they are worth 5 pts. and well worth it. The only problem is trying to find them which is why I now order them from amazon.

I should have look at the nutritional facts, but these bars are way too sweet to the point I couldn't finish the bar. Each bar has 31g of sugar and reminded me of a Butterfinger. I dont see how having 31g of suger makes this any healthier then a candy bar.

My whole family loves the Kashi Chewy Bars (including my 6 year old)! If you're expecting the taste of a candy bar, then yes...you will be disappointed. However, in my humble opinion these are the best tasting meal replacement bars I've ever had! These bars usually hold me over for 3-4 hours. According to my handy calculator, they're only 6 points each for those of us who count Weight Watchers Points.

I really like the Kashi bars as they are not too sweet, they have interesting flavors, and they actually help me feel satisfied when I can't break for lunch. I used to eat Quaker bars all the time, and these are much better tasting and do the job of filling me up better.

OK. So the Golean bars aren't going to taste like Snickers or anything like that. However, for a quick breakfast or snack option, I think they are great. I have one with a cup of coffee or some other drink and I am good to go. Believe it or not, they are satisfying and hold me for a while - usually until lunch. Oh yeah, and my teenagers like them too!!!

These bars are a great snack and meal substitute when you need something quick. They have a good amount of protein and are very balanced, made with ingredients that you can pronounce! If you choose the monthly shipment program they are very cheap and you will be hard pressed to find them cheaper anywhere else.

These taste more like a treat than a health bar. It's hard to believe they're good for you.

The bars are made of Kashi's wheat mix, but it tastes even better with the peanuts. One side is covered with chocolate. Sweeter than other granola bars, not as sweet as a candy bar. Perfect for most occasions.

This is the tastiest Kashi product I've tried.
